ACCT 5243 - External Auditing and Assurance Services

3 Credit Hour(s)

A study of theory and practices of external auditing and assurance services. Topics include auditing theory and methodology, engagement management, computerized audit sampling and evaluation utilizing audit software, advanced analytical procedures and software applications, emerging attestation, and issues in professionalism. Course will utilize advanced case studies and projects as well as lectures and readings.
