EDUC 3243 - Literacy and Writing in Elementary and Middle School

3 Credit Hour(s)

This course builds upon foundational literacy skills by exploring advanced strategies and materials for teaching reading in grades 4-8. Emphasis is placed on content-area literacy, comprehension of expository texts, development of study skills, and the application of contextual analysis strategies. Integration of technology in literacy instruction will be highlighted to support diverse learners.
