The chemical engineering program at Rogers State University focuses on the integration of interdisciplinary engineering and chemical sciences and engineering design. The curriculum is designed to prepare chemical engineering graduates for further education and personal development through their entire professional career. We strive to accomplish these goals by providing a rigorous and demanding curriculum incorporating lectures, discussions, laboratory and project development experiences in basic sciences, mathematics, engineering sciences, and design as well as liberal and global studies.

RSU chemical engineering graduates will learn to solve complex engineering problems; apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare; communicate effectively with a range of audiences; recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments; function effectively on a team; develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions; and acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
